Freshers Party, 11th March 2005, Friday night , Orchard Suite,
University Union
The CSUS chapter of H.S.C organized a freshers party for new students. It was a
great success. The new students really felt at home and enjoyed the party
thoroughly. The H.S.C core team also introduced H.S.C to the students. The party
commenced with a presentation made by the chapter president Amol Deshmane. The
presentation was followed by a question and answer session. Arpit Desai
continued with a beautiful song from the movie Veer Zaara. This was followed by
an interactive session between the freshers and the seniors. Chintamani and Urvi
conducted the session very well. The freshers shared their experiences about
coming to a foreign country. An attempt was made to answer some questions posed
by the students. Antakshari was then conducted by Arpit Desai and Chintamani.
Three groups participated amidst cheering from the audience. The party ended
with some Indian snacks.
